Film equipment for the Hall

The Commemoration Hall now has its own film projection facilities, thanks to the Queen’s Hall and the success of the Film Club in attracting regular audiences. The installation includes a new ceiling mounted screen, digital projector, DVD player, audio amplifier and speakers.
The next film, showing on Friday October 17th, is “The Jane Austen Book Club”. As usual, it starts at 7.30 and the cost is only £5 for the film and your supper. Subsequent shows feature a range of films to suit most tastes, so if you haven’t been before just come along one Friday evening! If you’re bringing a party of 4 or more, or would prefer a vegetarian supper, it would be helpful to let us know in advance (ring 01434 673443).
