The Community Trust, Parish Council and Slaley First School have been working on creating a new sport and play area in Slaley since August last year.
At long last, a plan of the proposal is now available and you can see it below (this small image is linked to a larger version (in PDF format):
This plan can also be found on the noticeboard next to the shop.
A planning application is to be submitted shortly. The money is to come from Northumberland County Council’s Housing Developers Fund, which uses money collected from housing developers to develop play areas for children and outdoor sports facilities for everyone.
