Progress with broadband?

Since the advent of broadband access via the Slaley exchange, there have ben few reports of how many people have signed up, and how their progress has been.
Both I and a neighbour at Colpitts Grange have had very positive experiences, in my case using a wireless router with one Apple Mac, and in the other running three computers on a wireless router. Both are signed up to a 1Mbit service, and achieving up to 94% of the maximum download speed in my case. Would anyone else like to report on their experience?

If you are encountering difficulties with BT broadband services, Neil Smith (Regional PR Manager for BT) has offered to assist with resolving them. At the meeting he attended in September, Neil said that having made an investment in enabling an exchange for ADSL, BT were keen to have as many people as possible signed up, and would do their best to ensure that any problems were overcome. You can contact Neil by email at: neil.7.smith@bt.com
