The Wildflower area at St Mary's

The wildflower area at St. Mary's churchyard is now blooming. At present there is a mass of cow parsley, red campion, oxeye daisies and geranium cranesbill, all in flower and worth a visit.

Thanks are due to Jim Allen for helping David cut and strim the wildflower area, which David much appreciates. Thanks also to John Knowles, Hugh Hutchinson and John Dodds for their continued work in the main churchyard. [ David & Janis Irvine ]

Recycle your printer cartridges!

There is now a recycling facility for used inkjet printer cartridges in the entrance to the Commemoration Hall. The Hall will receive a donation from the company taking these cartridges, so as well as saving you the bother of finding an envelope, the hall funds will benefit.
Like our wheelie bins, only certain makes of cartridge are accepted, so check before dropping yours in!

The makes of cartridges that can be recycled are: Dell, Canon, Hewlett Packard and Lexmark.

Unfortunately NO toner cartridges can be accepted for recycling.
