Slaley Parish celebrates the Queen's Platinum Jubilee
Organisations and individuals throughout the parish are keen to arrange events to commemorate the Queen's jubilee.
Slaley Parish Council are excited to support events and have set up the following to encourage this:

Our enthusiastic Local History Group will be providing a window display at the church
What’s happening at the Rose and Crown
Picnic time!
Bring a picnic and enjoy it in our garden between 12 noon and 3 pm. Meet up with friends or enjoy the company of others.
The performing arts
Are you a performer? We’d love to put some live entertainment on for those picnicking. Do you have a talent you’d like to share? If so, please write to ian.stevens686@gmail.com before 21st May to be sure that we can showcase your talent.

St. Mary’s Church
There will be some beautiful flower displays in Church which will be complemented by painting by local artists of flowers and gardens. This will extend beyond the Jubilee weekend and be part of the Parish Wander.
