News from the Rose and Crown – May 2022

A new partnership with LWC Drinks Ltd.

On Tuesday 10th May the bar area will see a complete overhaul with LWC Drinks Ltd. taking over from Heineken as our beer and cider supplier of choice (don't worry, our real ales aren’t going anywhere).

The change does mean that our current lager, beer and cider offerings will change with products coming from the Coors Brewery rather than Heineken range.

New glassware and bar furniture will cement this relationship.

If you'd like to see the changes for yourself and sample some of our new offerings why not pop in and see us from 11 May onwards.

Is there a performer inside you?

To coincide with the parish celebrations to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee (on 4th June), we’d love to put on some live entertainment between 12 noon and 2.30pm in the garden.  The stars of the show we hope will be our locals and parishioners, of all ages.  So if you play a musical instrument, can saw a lady in half (without bloodshed) or have any other special talent you’d like to share, please contact Ian Stevens at ian.stevens686@gmail.com by 21st May, so that we can be sure to showcase your talent on the day.

Our long awaited photoshoot

The photoshoot of the pub pencilled in for 29th April had to be postponed for operational reasons.  We’re hoping to rearrange it for a date in May.  We would love you to come along and be a part of it if you are able.  More details will be published on our website (http://www.roseandcrownslaley.co.uk/) once the date has been confirmed.
