Mrs Julie Hay has been teaching at Slaley First School for seventeen years, but is now about to retire after her long service.
The Slaley Mums who have kids at the school at the moment are organising a card and donations for her retirement. To speed things up till the card arrives (custom made by someone) we have put a batch of stickers which can be filled in to be stuck in the card, and an envelope for donations in the shop, as there are others in the village who probably want to wish her well.
She leaves at the end of next week, before Good Friday, so do add your bit!
