St Elizabeth's Church

St Elizabeth's Church, Minsteracres.

The parish of St. Elizabeth started in 1765 when the Silvertop family established the ‘Minsteracres Mission’ and a first priest was appointed with responsibility for the pastoral care of the family and the catholics in the surrounding area. Since then it developed to what it is now: a vital and vibrant faith community with active participation in the liturgy and other dimensions of parish life. The parishioners try to be a living sign of the Kingdom of God in this part of the world. There are a variety of groups for justice and peace, music and liturgy, and journey of faith. In 2015, the parishioners celebrated 250 years of faith and mission at St Elizabeth’s.
