Slaley Leek Club

The Leek Club is not just a Leek Club! It provides the focus for a village show on the second Saturday in September for vegetables and flowers that is an excellent way to bring the gardening season to a close. Entry is free and is open to all. Only the Leek class is restricted to Leek Club members with its big money prizes!

The village school take an active part in the Leek Show, with the children providing a healthy number of entries to their own classes. The Leek Club would very much like to encourage all the gardeners of Slaley to enter something into the show to maintain the fine tradition of the village.
