Slaley Parish Council Grant Information and Forms
Slaley Parish Council
Slaley Parish Council normally meets at 7.30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month in Slaley Commemoration Hall. An agenda is published on the Slaley website before each meeting, and is pasted on the Parish Notice Board (corner of Slaley Churchyard) within the statutory notice period; the official minutes are posted on this website after their adoption by the Council.
Quarterly updates of the Parish Plan 'Action Plan' keep the recommendations for parish improvements firmly at the forefront of many decisions taken during monthly meetings. Public participation is welcomed, and an agenda item is included for each meeting; a Hexham Courant reporter is invited to Slaley Parish Council meetings.
The next meeting of Slaley Parish Council
The Parish Council will next meet on 13th November.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm at Slaley Commemoration Hall in the Community Room.
The public are, as usual, welcome.
Parish Council Policy Documents
May 2023
Climate Emergency -In support of the County Councils Climate Change Action Plan 2021 – 2023, Parish Councillors declared a Parish Climate Emergency. By doing so they hope to raise the profile of climate change across the community and ask individuals to do more to protect the environment. For their part, Parish Councillors agreed that any forthcoming decisions they made on behalf of the community would take account of their potential environmental impact.
